  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Wed, 28 May 2025 07:12:00 +0000
  • Source:
  • Region:
  • Note: Narrow CME seen to the due west in SOHO C2, C3, GOES CCOR-1, and STEREO A COR2A; the source is unclear but may be associated with an eruption beyond the western limb as seen by moving field lines in GOES SUVI 284 occurring around 2025-05-28T07:00Z.

  • Source:
  • Region:
  • Note: Narrow, fast, spray CME seen to the due west in SOHO C2, C3, GOES CCOR-1, and STEREO A COR2A which appears to emanate from higher and higher latitudes with time; the source is an eruption just beyond the western limb as seen by moving field lines in GOES SUVI 284 occurring around 2025-05-28T02:00Z.

  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Tue, 27 May 2025 16:12:00 +0000
  • Source:
  • Region:
  • Note: Faint loop CME visible to the S/SE in SOHO LASCO C2, C3, and GOES CCOR-1 and to the SE in STEREO A COR2. Source is field line movement on or near the SE limb seen in GOES SUVI 284 around 2025-05-27T15:00Z.

2025-05-27T09:24:00-CME-001

  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Tue, 27 May 2025 09:24:00 +0000
  • Source: N15E61
  • Region: 14100
  • Note: Wide CME observed to the northeast in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1, and STEREO A COR2. The source is a broad opening of field lines to the northeast centered on disk around N15E61, north of AR 14100 (N08E61), observed best in SDO AIA 171/193 and GOES SUVI 284 beginning slowly around 2025-05-27T07:16Z and faster starting around 2025-05-27T08:06Z. Accompanied by some slight dimming in SDO AIA 193 well north of this central point, spanning a thin arc ~N35E90 to ~N35E40, then down to ~N08E33. This minor increase in brightening is associated with a brief post-eruptive arcade seen from Active Region 14100 and is accompanied by a long-duration post-eruptive brightening from the surrounding area near and around Active Region 14100. Long-duration post-eruptive brightening near and around Active Region 14100 can be seen in SDO AIA 131. Two brief brighter arcades forming at Active Region 14100 resulted in a C4.5 and a C5.0 flare.

  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Mon, 26 May 2025 16:24:00 +0000
  • Source:
  • Region:
  • Note: Narrow fast jet to southeast in both coronagraphs (SOHO LASCO and STEREO A COR2). Not clearly visible in GOES CCOR-1. Its source could be a very minor ejecta seen on/close to the southeast limb in STEREO A EUVI 304 at 2025-0-26T15:45Z.

2025-05-26T14:23:00-CME-001

  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Mon, 26 May 2025 14:23:00 +0000
  • Source: N12E70
  • Region: 14100
  • Note: A relatively bright CME seen to the east in all three coronagraphs. Its source is the M1.4 flare from AR 14100 (N12E70) and the associated ejecta seen in SDO AIA/GOES SUVI/EUVI A 304 around 2025-05-26T13:21Z (ejecta directed northward). Coronal signatures include intense dimming, brightening, post-eruptive arcades and even a wide EUV wave seen almost reaching the central meridian in SDO AIA.
